Investors, Financing institutions and Contractors that engage in an investment project have to develop a deep understanding of costs and risks in a short time and with a reasonable effort. This is not easy when the project's size or complexity is high and when the location is remote.

The Prima3 System has been developed by a team of professionals, supported by system analysts, as a comprehensive methodology to match these needs.

Prima3 is an expert system that makes accurate project cost estimates and profitability and risk analysis for industrial and infrastructure projects. It can be used at various project stages, like early feasibility study or EPC LSTK bidding. The system gathers plant installed costs and operation costs with financial, home office and country cost data (see also Business Information).

On the basis of concise but complete check lists, Prima3 combines all data in an expert way obtaining a comprehensive picture of the investment. Given the integrated approach, the system provides a real time analysis of costs, contingencies, risks, exposure and cash flow during the construction period and the project operation stage.

The risks pertaining to the whole project lifetime (financial, currency, political, technical, market, inflation, time, etc.) are analyzed on quantitative basis with the Monte Carlo method.
