Project Control approach
Once the structuring and financing of the project has
been completed, the EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction)
phase gets started.
Once the facilities or works have been completed and the commissioning
tests have been successfully passed the O&M (Operation & Maintenance)
phases commences. Quality, budget and time are crucial for the Developer
and for the financing institutions that are backing-up the project.
It is therefore extremely important to ensure that the implementation
plan be carried out properly and with no delay or cost over-run.
Early warnings on deviations from the plan are essential, so that
recovery plans may be set up on time.
