As an outcome of a Business Development effort, BEN may undertake the role of agent or distributor of the concerned product or service, on behalf of the Client.

Assuming this role may prove to be beneficial:
for the Client, that intends to develop sales without investing in the concerned country
for BEN, that may develop a stable and profitable activity on the basis of solid methodologies and operating capabilities.

The trading activities are carried out by a distinct organizational Unit (BEN Trading Division).

 

The need
Defining and implementing an entry plan in a foreign market is a demanding exercise, due to various entry barriers, that the company may not be ready to tackle.

Our approach
We collect information on the concerned product or service on the basis of a confidentiality agreement. If the information we collect is encouraging, then we execute a marketing research and analysis of the concerned market. On the basis of such analysis we develop a marketing plan, whereby we analyze market size, competition, and entry barriers and outline an action plan to develop sales as if we were exclusive distributors. The marketing plan is presented to the Client and jointly discussed. If the plan is satisfactory then the Client may decide to appoint us as its distributors in the concerned area. We can tackle a wide variety of products and services, but we try and focus on those areas where we have had positive previous experiences and on those projects that can develop synergies with other current activities.
